Might as well get these started right now. Those of you who know this show, hit us with the GGRP roles, particlarly those that might not be in game but are believable.

Bubbles (aka Bubs) - Heroine addict informant to the police. Probably limited seer role. Kima Greggs - Lesbian Detective (could be angel or vig) Lt. Daniels - He's the head of the Wire unit. I'd say Angel role, since he's always protecting his people Jimmy McNulty - Detective. Always pissing people off. f**ks everything that moves. Possible Vig or Seer. He's as close to being the main character as anyone on the show. Lester Burnham - Him and McNulty are really the ace detectives. I could see him being a seer. Roland "Prez" Pryzbylewski - Doofus cop that's good with numbers. Could be limited seer or scholar. Bunk - McNulty's old partner. Possibly a Mason w/ McNulty. Omar - Robs and kills drug dealers. Definate Vig, but villagers might think he's an INDY. He has worked w/ the cops in some episodes though.

Carver and Herc are probably GG masons (they're best friends on the show... both kind of doofy inexperienced cops.
It's probably tough or impossible to fake a mason role.

Good stuff there, Norwood.
I think ACH is the only one among us who hasn't been a BG before, so I don't want to come off condescending here. But none of us are exactly SuperVets, so I'm not going to hold my tongue much, either. Hopefully nobody else will either.
I'd suggest everybody have a fake in mind. Develop it a lot if you have the time, but keep it simple if you can. Don't be afraid to change what you're planning to fake as the game demands it, but DON'T BE IN A HURRY TO FAKE, either.
I think bry would have come out as somebody else D2 last game.

After that, you guys had murdered them.

you guys are going to have to help me with faking, I don't have a clue about this show. Do we want to try to fake lesser known characters at first, so as not to immediately signal to the real GGRP that we're lying? Of the roles we have listed, which GGs are definitely in the game, which ones definitely aren't, and which ones are up in the air?

I'd like to get my claim figured out early on. I don't want to come out and say I'm the main character, because it's possible they won't even believe it...the odds of it happening 2 games in a row seems slim. I'd much rather come out with a claim of someone that could be used later on and is worth keeping around.

Here's a good "lesser known" character
Terrance "Fitz" Fitzhugh (FBI Agent) - Fitz is a special agent with the FBI and a friend of Jimmy McNulty. Fitz inspires McNulty to use modern electronic surveillance against the Barksdale organization by showing how they to set up video surveillance on a drug production ring.
I think Fitz's role could be a limited view (McNulty/non McNulty). If Fitz finds McNulty, he gives him surveillance equipment which results in McNulty getting an additional view per night.

The way to completely sell it though is for one of us to start leaving subtle hints. Any idea what those could be?

If you're going to indicate Jimmy's looking for you, you might as well claim Jimmy, 'cause the real McNulty will know you're bullnutsting. Just a thought.

It's probably tough or impossible to fake a mason role. Greco may be about to find out.

FWIW, I actually think Greco is clean. But, I think his claim is fake.

Well, this fake sucks now. Maybe we could say that Fitz gets a view every 3 to 4 days (when he's not busy w/ FBI work)
